Barley Days Brewery uses only the finest malts and hops, brewed in small batches, to ensure quality and purity. Visitors are invited to sample these unique beers, often made using local ingredients, and tour the brewery, whose name pays homage to a golden time in the history of Prince Edward County when the region grew and shipped barley to the United States.
As a complement to the three year 'round brews (Loyalist Lager, Wind & Sail Dark Ale, Harvest Gold Pale Ale) produced at the brewery, Brew Alex Nichols also takes care in creating exciting seasonal brews. Sugar Shack Ale during the maple season, and Yuletide Cherry Porter during the holidays are two examples of tasty brews that are only available seasonally.
Barley Days Brewery's latest brew, Brown Ale, demonstrates the brewery's values. Brown Ale was brewed with 100% Prince Edward County hops, sourced form local farmer Larry Roche's farm on Big Island.
