Hello

I was recently in the county for the maple festival and had the opportunity to sample your Sugar Shack Ale. I write because I would like to know if cooking the beer would remove the alcohol content from it so I can introduce it into a pancake batter. I call my invention "Maple Beercake," which I believe would be a profitable venture for both myself and Barley Days Brewery. If you could please write back with any ideas that would help facilitate the creation of a beer pancake, we could continue to venture into more maple beer flavoured products, such as Maple BeerBacon, Maple BeerSausage, Maple BeerBeans. Would it be at all possible to observe your maple beer making process to further expand my idea?

Thank you,
Jason.

Hi Matt, I know I replied to you separately, but for everyone else - our Sugar Shack Ale is a special seasonal brew that is currently only sold by the 6pk out of our retail store here at the Brewery. If you are craving a little something sweet you can also buy it by the pint at the Barley Room Pub at the Waring House.
If you aren't able to come to the brewery special arrangements are sometimes possible for delivery. Please contact us.
Cheers!

We very much enjoy visiting the brewery every summer and would like to make a small requests. We feel that it would greatly enhance our experience if the brewer Alex Nicols provided shirtless tours. Just a suggestion. Donna is fantastic by the way! She alone is worth the drive!

Hello Chris,

the Summer Light Ale will be a seasonal beer for the hot days of summer and just be available in the store at the brewery and a few select pubs all over Ontario.

Enjoy the beer!

I just finished crankin' 3 of your Boc beers and I've fallen madly in love with them. Somewhat sweet with a fantastic aftertaste. It's REFRESHING!!
I need to head to the county soon and pick up some more before that liquid gold is sold out!

Well done.
