Our Brewer - Alex Nichols
Alex came to Barley Days Brewery in 2009.
Alex has a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from University of Guelph and a Master of Science in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
His move to Prince Edward County represented a chance to take charge of a brewing operation, and brought him closer to friends and family near Kingston.Growing up in the area, Alex has an appreciation for local agriculture, which has helped him source ingredients and products, like hops, cherries and locally-produced oak barrels.
